Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been achieved on hardcourt
A revitalized Medvedev secured his maiden trophy for nearly 30 months with victory over opponent Moutet in the competition final.
Medvedev, a former top-ranked player, has experienced a challenging season, winning just one win at the major tournaments and undergoing a difficult moment at the American major.
Medvedev's varied form on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his serve in particular - led to him dropping out of the world's top 10 and finally splitting with long-time coach his previous coach.
Currently training with his coach and his other coach, the tennis star has consistently progressed in the last few weeks - peaking in a hard-fought three-set triumph over Frenchman Moutet.
This represents the player's initial trophy following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard surface after March of 2023.
Success also indicates Medvedev has achieved 21 championships at twenty-one different events.
"For the first time I am participating in a event with my two daughters together, so to secure a trophy is particularly special," stated tennis professional Medvedev.
"This title is in honour of my younger daughter her name, because the initial championship I achieved when my first daughter my daughter was delivered was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had been defeated in his last six finals, comprising in the German tournament earlier this year.
His defensive strategy and recurring reactions on the playing surface had prompted commentators to doubt if his capacity to perform at the top level was finished.
But the player has made changes in the past month, striving to come to the net and play positively, reinforced by an improved serve.
The champion recovered from a break down in the first set against the difficult Moutet, taking 4 of the last five points to take the lead.
The pair traded service breaks in the second set before Moutet, attempting for his maiden ATP Tour championship, seized the initiative to force a final set.
Moutet defended 4 early-game break points in a competitive deciding set before the champion broke to 15 to close out the victory.
Fittingly, Medvedev secured the title with a shot at the net, with his opponent unable to handle a return after two hours and 38 minutes.
